ScriptCraft Founder
Hey! I’m Billy, a professional Story Producer committed to demystifying stories and helping writers level up to the highest grade.
A London-born bookworm, I’ve turned my storytelling passion into a professional power for growing ideas into commissioned series, and story producing hit, prime-time shows.
I have 38 hours of prime-time credits on acclaimed series of High End TV. Having developed multiple projects from their inception to optioned and commissioned shows, my experience encompasses original and adapted material in all genres and many mixes between.
After my degree in Creative Writing & Drama, I grew my industry teeth at the prestigious Mammoth Screen. There, I developed and script edited the international sensation POLDARK, as well as Sir Christopher Hampton’s THE SINGAPORE GRIP.
In 2022, I Story Produced SILENT WITNESS’ transformation from story-of-the-week into a serial thriller for its Silver Anniversary on BBC One and, in recent years, I have been a mentor on Channel 4’s Screenwriting Course and a panellist for BAFTA Rocliffe’s New Writing Programme as well as Goldsmiths University’s Script Writing MA.
Having helped writers from all walks of life and experience levels deliver on their visions so far, I know how hard it is to make the things in your head come out as you hope on the page.
I’ve condensed a decade of personal experience and accumulated wisdom into a system I’ve proven works while building shows. In ScriptCraft’s course I teach you that system – to make your journey to written excellence a fulfilling and worry free ride.
