George Jaques
George is an award-winning writer, director, producer, and actor. He founded London based Athenaeum Productions in 2017, writing a run of sold out plays before writing and directing a number of short films that gained support from Sony, Warner Brothers and Sky.
In 2022, George wrote and directed his debut feature film BLACK DOG which debuted at Cannes, executive produced by Oscar winning David Parfitt (THE FATHER, SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE).

About Our Founder
Billy Cook
Billy is a professional Story Producer obsessed with helping dedicated writers make every story a masterpiece.
To do this, he draws on over a decade of TV industry experience working with some of the best emerging and award-winning writers, producers and commissioning teams.
Billy has grown ideas from scratch to commissions, run teams through production and developed all genres. His production credits include BBC One’s international sensation POLDARK, Sir Christopher Hampton’s THE SINGAPORE GRIP for ITV, and the reinvention of SILENT WITNESS as a serial thriller for its Silver Anniversary on BBC One.
He has been a BAFTA Rocliffe panellist for new writing talent, a juror at Goldsmiths University Screenwriting MA, and a Screenwriting tutor at London’s CityLit college.
Billy is passionate about bringing diverse perspectives to the forefront and celebrating the whole human experience through stories that immerse and enthral.
At ScriptMaster, he teaches a system refined and proven on a great spectrum of shows.
